Ian C. Walchesky, Attorney
Ian C. Walchesky is an Associate Attorney at Creenan & Baczkowski. Mr. Walchesky practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, and appellate counsel. His practice includes representation of homeowners, small businesses, and large corporations at all stages of litigation.
Mr. Walchesky is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude. While at Pitt Law, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Commerce, and interned for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Office of Attorney General and the Court of Common Pleas of Butler County. In 2002, Mr. Walchesky graduated from Dickinson College, cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science.
Mr. Walchesky is admitted in all state Courts in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Third Circuit.
Before coming to Creenan & Baczkowski, Mr. Walchesky had his own practice in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, where he defended criminal and juvenile dependency matters, and successfully litigated multiple appeals in state and federal court. He has also served as a judicial law clerk for the Court of Common Pleas of Butler County and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and he previously worked at a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Pittsburgh, a multinational law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, and as corporate counsel. He has litigation experience in most Western Pennsylvania counties, the Pennsylvania Superior Court, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Walchesky lives in Huntersville, North Carolina with his wife and daughter and is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
