EEOC’s Guidance on Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) requires reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers. The accommodation must address the employee's or applicant's known limitations related to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. Employees are not obligated to if the accommodation creates an undue burden. The new Rule includes “Appendix A to Part 1636—Interpretive Guidance on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act”.
