Frank W. Jones, Attorney
Frank Jones joined Creenan & Baczkowski in 2014 in an “Of Counsel” role after running his own practice for nearly 40 years.
Mr. Jones specializes in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. He also represents personal representatives in the administration of estates and guardians of incapacitated persons.
After graduating Kent State University in 1967, Mr. Jones earned his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1970. He served as Deputy Register of Wills for Allegheny County for twenty years and also served as Solicitor for the Plum Borough and Burrell School Districts.
For 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, Mr. Jones was named a Pennsylvania Superlawyer in the field of Estate Planning and Probate. In 2010, he was elected as a Fellow to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel for his outstanding contributions in the practice of Estate and Trust Law. He has also lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Continuing Legal Education Programs on topics relating to Orphans Court and Estate and Trust Administration.
Mr. Jones is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as the Pennsylvania Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section. He is also a member of the S&T Bank Board of Directors where he serves as Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee.
