In the latest twist of federal legal events affecting the business community,  the Fifth Circuit has lifted the injunctive that had halted the Corporate Transparency Act"s Decemeber 31, 2024 deadline for tapering companies to file a Beneficial Owner Information Report.  

In light of the fast approaching statutory deadline,  the appeals court decision now means a January 13, 2025 deadline.
