Changes to PA List - Quick summary

The Life-Sustaining Business List has been updated twice in the last 3 days.  Here's quick list of changes:

  • Accounting and payroll – now permitted

  • Construction – emergency repairs permitted

  • Insurance carrier and agencies are now permitted – but no in person sales.

  • Dry-cleaning and Laundry - permitted

  • Household services – permitted.

  • Manufacturing – Glass and glass product, lime and gypsum, – now permitted

  • Aerospace products and parts – added exception - "Except defense industrial base manufacturing under CISA advisory is permitted"

  • Vehicle and parts wholesaler- permitted

  • Specialty food stores – permitted

  • Beer distributors -permitted

  • Clothing – exception added - "Except uniforms and accessories/supplies for public safety and health care professionals"

  • Misc. Store – exception added_ "Except pet supplies stores permitted"

  • Banks- exception added "This category includes consumer banks and credit unions using drive-through, ATM, and limited lobby services."

  • Financial services – exception added - "Except for financial services under CISA advisory is permitted"

  • Legal Services – exception added - "Except as required to allow attorneys to participate in court functions deemed essential by a president judge per the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's order of March 18, 2020, or similar federal court directive, and lawyers may access their offices to effectuate such functions and directives."

  • Veterinary services – now permitted

  • Translation services – now permitted

  • Services to buildings and dwelling – permitted and exception added - "This category includes janitorial, pest control, and landscaping services."

  • Schools – exception added - "Except for essential employees in the preparation and distribution of meals for children"

  • Child Day Care – still not permitted = note added - "Except where permitted by waiver"

  • Traveler accommodation – added Hotel and Motel to note

  • RV Park – permitted

  • Restaurants- Take out only note added

  • Personal and household goods- permitted – note added -"Including motorcycle and bicycle repair (but sales not permitted)."
